Slackwater in Sandy is truly one of my favorite places to eat. My son, daughter and I absolutely love coming here and the food, the pizzas, and the drinks are always spot on. Every visit feels enjoyable, and we always leave happy and satisfied. Even when I’ve gone with family, the experience has been just as amazing. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is great, and the food is consistently delicious. If you’re looking for a place with great vibes and even better food, Slackwater never disappoints!
Not too bad. The spinach and artichoke dip was not very good, and it didn't come out good. I'll have to try a different appetizer next time. The pizza was good and matched the price. The beer was pretty great, probably my favorite part of coming here.
The restaurant was clean. We got a table right away. The waitress (Breezy) was very informative and answered our questions. The food was great. One item that we ordered was late getting to us, they gave it to us for free. They also gave us some chips, salsa and guacamole while waiting for the Calzone. We ordered Spin-art Dip, Pua’a Luau Calzone, Hot Honey DP Pizza, Thanksgiving Dinner Pizza Style. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. It was a birthday and they gave us Apple-Oates Beignets and they were very good. They have monthly items that are good.
We have been to the downtown slackwater and loved it so we decided to try this one in Sandy. It was really busy. We went on a Friday night at 8 and had a party of 10. They got us seated in about 45 minutes. The service was great and the food was delicious. We got the stuffed bread sticks and I tried the Cuban pizza which was good. I should’ve gone with the spicy honey pizza. That was better. All of their pizzas are good.
Great vibe! Food was excellent. We each had the French Onion soup and then we shared Nachos and Caprese Salad. The Caprese Salad reminded us more of Bruschetta.
Best Pizza I’ve had in a long time! Busy but quick service. Excellent servers! A person in our party had a dairy allergy and they made sure they had non-dairy cheese and regular crust because the gluten free crust has milk in it. The server also made sure the pumpkin sauce to the beignets was in the side with the whipped cream because it had milk in it too. It’s a happening place so it’s a bit noisy. Highly recommend!!!
Great place with a cozy vibe on a chilly night! It's a perfect blend between slightly modern and slightly rustic. The staff is sweet, attentive and always available. You have good vegetarian appetizers (Cheese stuffed diablo sticks and Hummus with Pita/Tortilla with Salsa/Avacado) and an awesome selection of beer. Fun on a Saturday night for a lively evening that's not too loud.
If you live around SLC, you’ve heard or Slackwater. For some reason, we waited WAY too long to stop in and give it a try. This place is great. The service and atmosphere are fun, and the food is top notch. I’d recommend their cheesy breadsticks or wings to start, and then choose whichever pizza looks good. I’m a calzone fan, so I always ask for my pizza as a calzone. My favorite is the Italian Job. I highly recommend.
